My Approach
When you first come in you can expect me to ask what you are interested in working on. Some typical responses from clients are
I’m depressed, I’m anxious, I’m stressed-out
There is no intimacy or affection in my life
I feel alone and unsupported - as if no one really cares about me
Life feels generally unfulfilling or lacking meaning
I have OCD
My partner and I fight too much
I think I may be getting high too often
I think I have unprocessed trauma from my childhood that’s effecting my adult relationships
I should never have become a (lawyer, doctor, engineer, etc fill in the blank) - now what do I do?
I think my wife might be borderline, just like my mother was
I think my husband might be a narcissist - oh yeah my dad was a narcissist too
I’m in an abusive relationship and think I may be codependent
My doctor said I had a manic episode but I think it may have been a spiritual awakening / kundalini rising
My relationship with my parents/kids/siblings is fucked
I work way too much - my life is completely unbalanced
I’m thinking about working with psychedelics / plant medicine
